The military section includes memorabilia from both World Wars. Exhibits are meticulously arranged in historical and stylistic sequences, narrating the story of technological advancements and human creativity over the last two centuries.
The museum stands out for its innovative approach. It blends cultural promotion with entrepreneurial management, making it a significant attraction and a lively cultural hub. The museum features a conference center, an ideas space, tourist activities, a historical archive, an educational section, a library, and a well-stocked bookstore dedicated to the world of motors.
Luciano Nicolis vision for the museum was deeply rooted in his family’s history of recycling and reusing materials, a tradition that began with his father Francesco in 1934. This legacy inspired Luciano to see potential in discarded items, fueling his passion for collecting and restoring vintage vehicles and mechanical objects. Today, the museum is managed by Luciano’s daughter, Silvia Nicolis.
