Panoramic Lift
Outdoor activity – Riva del Garda, Lake Garda
Embark on an unforgettable journey with the brand-new inclined panoramic lift to the Venetian Bastion in Riva del Garda. In just three thrilling minutes, you can ascend 208 meters and experience a breathtaking view of the town center and the serene Lake Garda, all from the comfort of a glass-walled cabin.
This state-of-the-art lift traces the historical route of the 1950s chairlift, which was dismantled in the early 1980s. The new route has been strategically moved north, directly beneath the Bastion, enhancing the visual splendor experienced during the ascent. The panoramic cabin, entirely made of glass, provides an unobstructed view of the stunning landscape, making your short journey truly memorable.
Upon reaching the top, visitors are greeted by the Bastione Lounge & Restaurant. This is the perfect spot to unwind with an aperitif or enjoy a sumptuous dinner while soaking in the magnificent views. The combination of exquisite dining and panoramic vistas makes for a remarkable dining experience.
Just a few steps away stands the Venetian Bastion, a historic tower that has become a symbol of Riva del Garda. Constructed between 1507 and 1508 by the Serenity Republic of Venice, the Bastion was originally built to protect the border with the Episcopal Principality of Trent. Today, it stands as one of the most cherished landmarks in the town, attracting numerous visitors each year.
For those who enjoy a leisurely stroll, the Bastion can also be accessed via a scenic path leading to the town center. This walk takes about 20 minutes and offers a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and historical ambiance of the area.
