Bardolino Wine Route
Outdoor activity – Bardolino, Lake Garda
The Bardolino Wine Route is a cycle – pedestrian path born from the collaboration of six Municipalities. A project created to enhance the resources of the territory: the historical-cultural, landscape and also food and wine ones; It is precisely Bardolino wine that inspires this set of splendid routes.
The municipalities crossed by the The Bardolino Wine Route are, in fact, all producers of Bardolino Classico wine. Specifically, in addition to Bardolino, the towns involved are: Affi, Cavaion Veronese, Costermano sul Garda, Garda and Rivoli.
The Bardolino Wine Route, approximately 140 km long in total, is made up of many routes of varying lengths (from the shortest of 3 km to the more complex ones of approximately 20 km) which can be covered on foot or by bicycle. Each itinerary leads to the discovery of the lesser-known beauties of the area and crosses the agricultural companies that produce Bardolino DOC Wine.
What makes each itinerary easy to use is the presence of information panels with a QR code, thanks to which it is possible to download the map in gpx and locate the equipped rest areas, the free parking areas, and also receive information and curiosities about the points of greatest interest encountered along the way.
Along these paths you immerse yourself in the hills and vineyards, you pass through historic villages, and you can make pleasant stops at the farms to taste the wine and other local products. A series of routes, therefore, not only for lovers of outdoor excursions but also for those who are curious and are looking for new and authentic flavours.
